A MALVERN art gallery hopes to have rock solid reviews as it hosts work from an internationally-acclaimed sculptor.
On the Wild Side, which opened 12 months ago to present the best in natural history art and encourage talented artists by offering them a window for their work, is to host work by acclaimed natural artist Lawrence Murley.
The exhibition, called Rock Solid, will feature sculptures of lizards, frogs and turtles using American picasso marble from Utah, bronze and Cornish serpentine.
After much acclaim throughout the United States, this is the artist's second one-man exhibition in the UK aimed at raising awareness of the reptiles and runs until Saturday, November 24.
"The exhibits really wow people when they come in," said Audrey Parsons, assistant at the Church Street gallery,
"We are very pleased with the selection we have on display and they have proven very popular. We really are delighted to have the work with us."
