STARS from across the globe are hoping there will be lots of generosity after idols including Kylie Minogue and Craig David donated items for a charity auction.
The event in aid of ChildLine Midlands organised by Stourport's Shauna Kent will also see a book signed by Sir Paul McCartney, calendar and photo signed by Lennox Lewis, jacket from H of Steps and poster signed by the Bee Gees up for grabs. Mrs Kent, wife of the charity's Kidderminster-based West Midlands area fund-raiser Eric Kent, has even arranged for Airport television star Jeremy Spake to act as auctioneer for the occasion at Worcester's Fownes Hotel on Friday, November 2.
A cricket bat signed by members of the world cup-winning Australian team, signed Travis and Sting CDs and other gifts from Tim Henman, Sally Gunnell, Terry Wogan and European football teams are also up for grabs.
Mrs Kent, who is hoping the event will raise thousands of pounds, said: "I'm really looking forward to it now and cannot thank the stars enough for all the items they have sent in.
"It's been great waiting for the postman to arrive each day as I never know what he will bring."
Entry for the event which starts at 7.30pm is free, but tickets are very limited and can be obtained from Mrs Kent by calling 01299 878502.
