A MAN who knocked a mother's teeth out after they attended a wedding reception has been warned he faces jail.
John Baker, 24, of Hurcott Road, Kidderminster, was convicted of assaulting Mrs Kelly Whall and causing her actual bodily harm.
Baker accused the victim of disrupting the reception before the attack.
She needed hospital treatment for her injuries and lost two teeth.
After the verdict at Worcester Crown Court, it was revealed that Baker had a criminal record which included assault, intimidating witnesses and burglary.
Judge Michael Mott said prison was almost inevitable and remanded Baker, a former drug addict, in custody because he had a history of failing to surrender to bail.
