LEAGUE newcomers, Badsey Rec Reserves, ended Broadway United Reserves' unbeaten record to move to the top of Division Four in the Evesham Sunday League.

Goals from Dan Curry and Oliver Stanbra gave Badsey a comfortable interval lead and, despite Broadway reducing the deficit, the home side rarely threatened an equaliser.

Shipston Sports moved into second spot, as a hat-trick from Hill and a further goal from Howell comfortably defeated Bretforton VIC Res.

Goals from Edwards and Frost continued Salford Rovers' impressive start in Divi-sion Three at the expense of Honeybourne Gate Inn.

Leaders Broadway won the local derby at Blockley with goals from Hawkins (2), Matt Sheridan (2), Jeffs and Sallis.

Leaders Moreton Wanderers won comfortably at Guiting Rangers with goals from Winter (2), Garne and Aizpuru.

Fowler goal gave Bredon a half-time lead at Badsey Rec but the home side produced a fine second half performance as goals from Simms (2) and Spiriskowski took the points.

In a delayed Tewkesbury Sports Knock-out Cup tie, Bretforton VIC overcame Inkberrow with second half goals from Gregory and Boulton.
