WHILE Cheltenham Town hope to be sitting pretty in the top three at the end of the season, fans will be doing just that soon, writes Mervyn Collins.
The Whaddon Road "Robins" are putting the finishing touches to a £1.2m 1,000 seater stand that is scheduled to be used for the first time on November 6.
The ground has undergone a massive transformation since Cheltenham took their place in the Football League in 1999.
FA Trophy success followed by a Nationwide Conference title - under the managership of Steve Cotterill - all proceeded to build a solid platform that has seen two seasons of consolidation.
It was only six years ago that Cheltenham were playing Southern League soccer - their story of success since has been remarkable.
Now, Town are looking to spread their net and the family-friendly club are eager to show off their new facilities to both supporters and businesses.
The club offers a free Park and Ride service from Prestbury Park Racecourse, buses leave every 20 minutes before the game and the same system operates after the final whistle.

Forthcoming home matches include Scunthorpe on Saturday, Bristol Rovers on Tuesday, Nov-ember 6, Plymouth (November 9) and Macclesfield (Nov 20).
