A WELFORD schoolgirl is celebrating after landing two parts in two major ballet productions.
Jessica Toone, aged 10, was on stage last Sunday at The Regent Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent dressed as a cowboy in the Nursery Suite. Jessica was supporting the National Youth Ballet's production of Hansel and Gretel.
And the youngster, who lives in Barton Road, Welford, has just landed another part in the Birmingham Royal Ballet's performance of The Nutcracker at the soon-to-be-re-opened Hippodrome.
It is hoped she will put in another cracker of a performance, as she plays a child at a Christmas party.
A pupil of Temple Grafton CE Primary School, Jessica has been dancing since the age of three and attends classes at the Rutleigh Norris Ballet Schools in Alcester and Moseley.
Jessica's mother Dawn said: "I am absolutely thrilled because these are such fantastic opportunities for her."
