Evesham DAA
THE second semi-final of the Knockout Cup took place at Common Road and resulted in a narrow win for Servicemen's Club.
Nick Marshall topped the individual weights and his efforts helped the winners see off the challenge of Offenham.

THE latest Avon Shield Series match produced a tight finish with Barry Stayte coming out on top.
Phil Johns, who was pipped for top spot, still tops the Summer Series aggregate with John Davis in second and Si Milner third.

There will be a Stillwater Shi-eld Series match at Hill View Fisheries, Twyning on Sunday. The draw for the last match for the Summer Aggregate will take place at 7.30 for 7.45am.
M & M Worms Evesham Youth
MATTHEW Smith took the top honours after Sunday's Mal Jones Trophy contest at Rissington Road.
The next match is on Sunday on the Stratford Canal and all members are requested to attend this first leg match in the Tingle Canal Series.

Tunnel Barn Farm
SPORT has again proved good thanks to the favourable weather conditions.
More than 100lbs of carp was taken from peg one on the Top Pool by a pleasure angler while there are plenty of bream, roach and chub showing with nets of 50lbs not uncommon.
Pellet, meat carp and orfe are proving the best baits on the House Pools while the Bottom Pool has produced three carp of 20lbs plus caught to bread.
Bream have been showing well below the bridge on the Canal, fishing caster and pinkie is catching peach, roach and gudgeon on the far bank.
