FANS of 60s pop can relive the era when a group of original Merseyside bands hit Kidderminster this weekend.
The Mersey Cats, 30 musicians in five or six groups, will perform "classic 60s rock 'n' roll" at the Gainsborough House Hotel on Sunday to raise money for Wyre Forest 70s legend Clifford T Ward, who suffers from multiple sclerosis.
Friends spokesman Roy Smith said: "Clifford himself will be the guest of honour for the evening and we are hoping that one of the groups will perform at least one of his songs."
