A WOMAN hoping to raise cash for British children by trekking the Himalayas in Nepal has organised a charity dance to boost her fund-raising cause.
Accountant Sue Ball, 52, of Stourbridge Road, needs to raise £2,000 to take part in the "once-in-a-lifetime" trek, which will see her scale heights of 11,000 feet next February.
She is raising cash for the Children's Society, which works with the country's most vulnerable children and young people.
Her dance - "the best idea I could think of to let people know where I'm going and why I'm doing it"- takes place at Kidderminster's Gilt Edge Social Club on Friday, November 2 at 8pm.
She can be contacted for more information on 01562 751731.
