LEAGUE leaders Campden RBL lost their unbeaten rec-ord when they crashed to a narrow three-point defeat at the Lygon Arms.

Keith Harris was the Lygon's hero with a score of 49, a feat matched by the consistent Bob Pitcher for the losers.

Offenham RBL have taken over at the top after they made it six wins out of six in convincing style at home to Hampton WMC. Ady Lewis and Paul Lewis both hit 49 for the winners.

There was nothing to choose between Wickhamford SSC and Badsey RBL after a thrilling and high-scoring tussle left the sides level. Chris Nicholls was the home team's top scorer with 49, while Brian Jelfs scored one fewer for the visitors.

Jackie Laming notched up her second maximum of the season as Stanton Club easily dismissed the challenge of Nomads by 32 points to maintain fourth spot.

There was a welcome second success of the season for Broadway FC, who had Stu Wright high scoring in a comfortable win over basement visitors George and Dragon.

The battle between a couple of mid-table sides saw visitors Bidford RBL narrowly overcome Badsey Rec to move level on points with their victims in mid-table.

Ashley Green was the night's top scorer with 47 for the losers, while Graham Steed recorded 46 for the winners.
