Malvern U9s 5, DK's U9s 4
after a slow start to the season, the MRFC U9s came into their third game looking for victory.
This showed from the start with an almost immediate try from Will Watling, followed by another, running end to end to score for Malvern.
DK's kept fighting back, but Malvern put is some good tackling, and began to move the ball, allowing Gareth Jones to add a third try.
Man of the match James Bruton then got Malvern's fourth try to level the scores.
However, it was newcomer Rory Galloway who picked up the ball from the lose, and ran in with two minutes to go to secure a well deserved victory for Malvern.
If there are any children who would like to join the U9s or U10s you are very welcome to come and train with us at 10.30am on a Sunday morning at Spring Lane. Any budding coaches or parents who could help out are also most welcome.
