ALDWYN Voices continue the Autumn in Malvern Festival tomorrow (Saturday) at Malvern Priory.
Soloists Mark Bebbington, piano, and Louise Vale, organ, join them for a programme which includes work by Finzi, Tavener and Takemitsu, reflecting the Anglo-Japanese theme. The concert is at 1pm and tickets are £5.
It is followed on Sunday with a talk on the work of the architect C F A Voysey by Wendy Hitchmough. It investigates Voysey's practice of designing everything from foundations to curtains. It is at the Malvern Theatres at 11am and tickets are £4.50.
The last event in the festival follows next Saturday, November 3, when the Britten Sinfonia will be performing at Malvern College Big School at 7.30pm.
The soloists are Catherine Beynon, harp, and Pauline Lowbury, violin.
The programme includes a new commission by the festival, jointly with Music at Oxford, by Roxanna Panuf-nik. There is also work by Yoshimatsu, Delius, Vaughan-Williams and Tippett.
Tickets are £12 and £8.50.
