Kington 1, Malvern Town 0
Malvern Town went down 1-0 to a 27th minute Danny Hill strike in an Express & Star West Premier Division game at Kington on Wednesday night.
The game was thrown into high farce when referee A R Khalfey decided to send off three Town players in the last 15 minutes. Town defender Paul Dugdale won a tackle against the goalscorer Hill who appeared to elbow Dugdale in the face.
The referee awarded a free kick to Kington which resulted in Town's Chris Thomas being sent off for questioning the decision.
Phil Slade asked "what are you sending him off for ref?" and was immediately sent off himself!
With five minutes to go Town looked likely to equalise when Adam Ward was tackled from behind by Kington's Scott Jackson.
Ward felt Jackson had followed through while he was on the ground and retaliated and in adherence to the laws of the game was dismissed. Jackson shown only a yellow card.
