FORMER Solihull full back Ian Mitchell says transfer target Peter Sutton is set to stay at Damson Park.
Reds manager Nicky Cross made a seven day approach for the striker when he was unsettled earlier in the season but he has since ousted Chris Smith to regain a first team slot.
"Peter won't be leaving a club like that," said Mitchell.
"They have such a good set-up it's difficult to leave.
"I left for my own reasons but we'll have to see what happens."
Mitchell told Reds fans the team would be 'up for it' against Clevedon tomorrow to make up for their 4-0 drubbing at Chippenham in midweek.
"We can't afford to be that poor again," he added, "every team has a bad game and that was ours.
"In a way it could be a good thing because it will give us all a kick up the backside.
"We have been told new faces will be coming in and when you hear that everyone puts a bit more in."
United have been drawn at home to arch rivals Solihull Borough in the first round of the Worcestershire Senior Cup on Tuesday, November 20 (ko 7.30pm).
