Upton started this home game three players short, a number of regulars being unavailable and Tenbury made their numbers count with an early goal.
Shortly after Bev Ingram showed good timing with a well-struck equaliser. The forwards worked well together Sally Loynes combining well with Janet Goodier and Bev Ingram. Paula Sayers making her first appearance of the season on the wing put in some excellent crosses.
The tireless Laura Smith never stopped running in the midfield ensuring the forwards were kept supplied with the ball. Anetta Sherwood again marked her player well thus cutting down the options for Tenbury.
Upton scored their second after the break Sally Loynes stopping the short corner before passing to Laura Smith who smashed the ball into the goal.
Tenbury kept the Upton defence of Trudy Warner and Jacky Farley busy in the second half and finally made their extra numbers count scoring a late equaliser.
