JULIE Freeman has been going goal-crazy for Kidderminster Harriers Ladies after cracking five consecutive hat-tricks in the opening games of the season.
The ace forward has notched up 18 goals with a tally per game that reads 4-4-3-4-3 to help her side to the top of the West Midlands Premier Division.
One of the hat-tricks was also in the FA Cup in which they lost 4-2 to Loughborough University.
The 34-year-old, who is more used to adding up high figures in her job at HSBC bank in Upton-upon-Severn, admitted it had been an amazing start to the season.
"It's incredible because I've been playing football for 20 years and that has never happened before," she said.
"The thing is I've scored hat-tricks before but they've been against opposition that hasn't been too brilliant, but the teams I have been scoring against have been pretty good."
The goal spree has been an added bonus for the striker from Long Acre, Kidderminster, because last year injury had threatened her career. "I had a bad ankle injury and I wondered whether I would play again at my age.
"When I got my third hat-trick I thought that was amazing but I never dreamed that it would continue.
"Every game I was thinking it can't happen again but it did although I didn't manage to make it six.
"It was getting to become a bit of a joke and my team-mates were calling me selfish," said Julie.
