AM I the only one who finds B&Q's plans a little suspicious? Tesco is Worcester's public enemy number one for wanting to re-build a school and build a supermarket, and Sainsbury's is not viewed in a much better light for its St John's development.
B&Q wants to build a football stadium as a way of getting one of its stores into Worcester.
I doubt that, without this, the firm would be seen as Worcester's hero.
You do not seem to be presenting this side of the story in your (objective?) newspaper.
In fact, I would call Wednesday's article nothing more than a free one page advert for friendly B&Q.
MISS LAURA MARSH,
