ELDERLY people at a Droitwich residential home have been given a helping hand, thanks to a charitable trust.
The Patients' Aid Association Hospital and Medical Charities Trust has enabled the town's Dorset House to buy vital equipment.
The largest item bought is a steady hoist which aids those who need help with standing and sitting.
"This is a boon when residents need help with mobility," said the head of care at Dorset House, Jane Brearley.
Manager Roger Ward praised the Wolverhampton-based trust.
"We are always so grateful to our donors," he said.
