FITNESS fanatics are being urged to take part in a hair-raising sponsored event for Worcester-based charity St Richard's Hospice.
Peak Fitness, in Sheriff Street, Worcester, is appealing for people to take part in a sponsored chest-waxing event to raise £1,000 for the charity.
The fitness club will also be holding a six-hour inter-club row, and a six-hour spin to raise the money.
Hilary Jones, community fund-raiser for the charity, said she was delighted the club would be holding the events, which run until the middle of November.
"We're very pleased that club manager Mark Fosbrook and staff at Peak Fitness are so enthusiastic about their fund-raising," she said.
