SILVER surfers in Worcestershire will have recycling projects, energy conservation and better health at their fingertips thanks to chat sessions launched by Age Concern.
As part of its ongoing Age Resource Desk sessions, the Bromsgrove office is staging an environmental chatroom on Thursday mornings.
Baby boomers can register a chat name on www.bbb. org.uk and discuss the benefits of recycling, keeping warm and better eating to name a few.
Sessions start at 11.30am and last for an hour.
On Thursday, November 1, Keith James, environmental officer for Bromsgrove District Council, and Rhian Holland, from the health promotion unit, will discuss keeping warm and the following week, pensioners will be given the chance to learn about recycling.
Thursday, November 15, will be concerned with alternative energy while the subject on Thursday, November 22, will be organic foods, complete with a representative from the Soil Association.
