I AM writing to you on behalf of the Brian Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT), which marks its 10th Anniversary this week.
Brain Injury can happen to any of us - around one million people go to accident and emergency departments with a head injury every year.
West Heath House, West Heath, Birmingham, is part of BIRT. We work with 25 people who have been brain injured through accident or illness.
Part of our success is down to the community itself. This may be through financial support, providing opportunities for employment or simply being welcoming to BIRT staff and clients.
