I understand from my cousin Mrs C Parkes, of Kempsey, that the people of Worcester have donated a very large sum of money to help the families of the victims of the World Trade Centre bombing in New York.
I am sure the people of the US, as well as myself, would like to thank them whole-heartily for their generosity and kindness in these terrible times.
It is good to know the UK is allied with the US and we thank you most sincerely.
Together we will overcome and rid the world of these terrorists.
