I wonder how many car drivers agree that the courtesy of most motorists leaves a lot to be desired.
I quote some examples which I'm sure you have all encountered:
You are in a side turning waiting to join a line of slow moving traffic in the direction which you wish to go.
How many selfish drivers go past before you get the OK to pull out?
And if you are in line of traffic signalling to turn right, even though the on-coming traffic may have sufficient gaps which would hardly cause a vehicle to slow down, you don't get a signal allowing you to safely turn right, although the traffic behind you is building up.
I try to practise what I preach, hoping some courtesy will brush off on to the other drivers I have mentioned.
