EIGHTEEN years of hard work have paid off for a Worcester beauty salon owner, who recently received a prestigious industry accolade.
Beautique, situated in the city's historic Friar Street and owned by Anita Cooper, is one of only 55 salons out of 1,500 in the country to be awarded Crown Salon status by French skincare house Guinot.
A former Worcester Girls' Grammar School pupil, Ms Cooper puts her success down to "hard work, excellent therapists and regular incentives".
Ms Cooper trained at Solihull Technical College and has a Confederation of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology diploma.
Guinot Crown status is awarded to independent beauty salons in recognition of high standards of treatments offered, the salon's appearance, its staff, customer service and training.
