PEOPLE who leave valuables in their cars will receive warning letters from police as part of a vehicle crime prevention event.
Motorcyclists from the road policing team, special constables and local beat officers will be manning a mobile unit and distributing leaflets advising people on the protection of their vehicles.
The unit will be in Dog Lane car park, Bewdley, from 3pm to 8pm on Friday, November 2.
"This is part of a joint effort between a partnership of local agencies," said Bewdley beat manager, PC Nigel Barter.
"Our aim is to give advice that will reduce vehicle crime and make Bewdley car parks safer places to leave vehicles.
"We hope people will take advantage of this opportunity to find out how to reduce the risk of crime to themselves and to their cars."
