AN exhibition is being held to showcase plans for extra open spaces and woodlands in Droitwich.
The proposals will be on show in the public library in Victoria Square for two weeks from Monday, November 12.
It has been organised by Droitwich Spa Civic Society to gauge public support for its plans, which also include proposals for more cycle and footpaths around the town.
So far, the reaction to the scheme has been very encouraging, according to members, but more responses are needed.
"They are intended to ensure environmental and recreation issues are given equal weight with developers' ideas for land on the outskirts of Droitwich," said Stuart Haywood, vice-chairman of the society.
"What we are doing is testing support for these ideas and refining and improving specific suggestions to ensure they command considerable public support. The exhibition is a chance for more people to comment and make suggestions."
