FAIRY tale dreams could come true for a lucky town child.
Christmas is coming early for one special youngster thanks to an exciting competition organised by your No.1 newspaper and Droitwich Spa Association for Retail, Tourism and Services (DARTS).
All children have to do is write, in no more than 30 words, which pantomime character they would like to be and why.
Whether it's Little Red Riding Hood, Dick Whittington or Buttons from Cinderella, we want to hear from you.
The winner will be invited to switch on the town's Christmas lights in High Street on Wednesday November 24, dressed up as their favourite character and receive a £10 cash prize.
DARTS member and Droitwich Spa town councillor Jan Bolton (Con, Droit.Central) said: "We're hoping to get everyone into the Christmas spirit and I thought it would be wonderful if a young person had the honourable task of switching on the lights.
"I hope residents will support the town during the festive season, particularly the late night shopping event on Friday December 7."
Entrants must be aged between four and 12.
Return a completed entry form (which is in the Advertiser on Page 9) to Christmas Lights Competition, Droitwich Spa Advertiser, 12a High Street, Droitwich Spa, WR9 8EW, by Wednesday November 14.
