VICTIM Support is appealing for new recruits in Worcester to help counsel people traumatised by crime.
Last year, the team supported more than 2,000 people, helping them to recover from a range of issues, including feelings of anger, depression, fear and loss of confidence.
The support scheme deals with problems arising from attempted murder and rape to assaults, burglaries and purse snatches.
Its aim is to provide empathy and support, to return people to normal life as soon as they are ready.
It offers practical information and someone to talk to for both adults and children.
Anyone wanting to find out more about the scheme can contact the registered charity on 01905 28252.
