HELP is at hand for Droitwich Spa residents who are keen to begin Christmas shopping but do not have access to public transport.
The town's community transport scheme, based in Ombersley Street East, is running a variety of shopping excursions every Thursday in the run up to Christmas.
A minibus will leave Droitwich at 11am and return at 12.30pm on a fortnightly or weekly basis depending on demand and the availability of volunteer drivers.
Trips cost £1 and are open to people who cannot use buses and trains or residents in areas where there is a poor service.
