Cookhill - Re-opening of the Baptist Chapel. This place of worship which had been closed for a month in order that it might be thoroughly renovated and repaired was re-opened for public worship on Sunday when two interesting sermons were preached in the afternoon and evening by the Rev A Boyd Johnson, Baptist Minister of Studley.
The work of renovation has been carried out in a satisfactory manner by the Messrs Huxley Bros. of Astwood Bank at an estimated cost of something like £50.
