A SCHEME to improve the safety of a Redditch road renowned for traffic accidents has been drawn up following an in-depth survey.
The move comes after a route study was performed along the A441 between Windmill Drive and the traffic island by Sainsbury's supermarket on the Abbey Trading Estate.
Worcestershire County Council's Highway's Partnership Unit for Redditch has since allocated £60,000 to carry out a number of measures along the route.
And during a neighbourhood group meeting last week, residents of St George's were updated on the project.
