A PIECE of equipment used to monitor children's heart rates has been introduced in the Alexandra Hospital's A&E department.
The much-needed monitor, which cost £2,500, was funded by Redditch Bereaved Parents' Group and will be only be used on children visiting the Woodrow Drive hospital.
Staff in the department were presented with the equipment by the mother of a baby who died in the hospital 10 years ago.
