FAIRFIELD progressed into the next round of the cup after beating Kidderminster league side Wolverley.
Fairfield started well and were unlucky not to take an early lead, with two fine saves by Wolverley's keeper keeping the scores level.
With Fairfield having most of the possession it was not until the 35 minute they eventually took the lead when Carl Downing's free kick found Paul Newbon at the far post and the striker scored with a powerful header.
Fairfield had further chances to increase their lead in the first half but could not find the finishing touch.
Fairfield continued to dominate the game but with chances not being taken frustration began to come into their play .
It took some good ball skills and a super finish from Stuart Byng for Sunday to increase their lead.
Wolverley hit back when a shot hit the post only to rebound out and hit Fairfield defender Simon Pinfield and deflect into the net.
Fairfield increased their lead once more with a good strike from Waine Devey. After 80 minutes Devey scored Sunday's fourth when he finished off a good move by clipping the ball over the advancing keeper.
Wolverley made it 4-2 in the closing stages but Fairfield ran out worthy winners.
