THREE masked men threatened terrified members of staff at a village pub.
The raiders, brandishing a crow bar and machetes, ente-red The Sun pub, in Bromsgrove Road, Romsley, as it was about to close.
They demanded money from the staff before leaving. No one was hurt.
The men were described as between 5ft 9ins and 6ft tall, of medium build and wearing dark clothes.
Detective sergeant Mark Glazzard said: "We are appealing for anyone who was at the pub just before it closed to get in touch with us as these offenders may have been around at the time.
"It is possible the offenders used the car park at the back of the pub, and again if anyone saw anything suspicious in the car park between closing time and 11.30pm we would ask them to contact us."
Anyone with information about the incident which happened last Sunday, October 28, should contact Redditch police station on (01527) 584888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
