CONCERNED district councillors who put forward suggestions to im-prove highways problems throughout the area are tonight set to receive a response from Worcestershire County County.
Recently, members of Bromsgrove District Council made comments on the authority's Highways Management Plan 2001 which looks at potholes, verges and traffic islands, ragwort, litter picking, grass cutting and unauthorised signs.
At tonight's meeting of the executive cabinet, members are to hear the county's justification for the current status quo.
The district called for more cash to maintain verges and traffic islands but the county says they were maintained according to the classification.
Members are also due to hear that in response to their plea for potholes to be repaired more quickly, the county says its ten-day target for repairs is generally met.
