A MAPPLEBOROUGH Green pre-school may be forced to cut staff after Ofsted ruled it must cut its weekly sessions by 50 per cent.
Until last month, Mappleborough Green Pre-school, Henley Road, offered children up to 10 three-hour sessions, five mornings and five afternoons a week.
But it now falls under the provisions of Ofsted, meaning children can only attend five sessions at Mappleborough Green Pre-school and then another pre-school for up to five more each week.
Tanya Wiley, of the pre-school, said it would be disruptive to the children if they had to travel to a different venue and familiarise themselves with the staff and children there.
The nursery supervisor has since written to Government ministers and Ofsted.
