AREAS in need of initial or additional CCTV facilities have been prioritised, with Bidford and Alcester coming in the top four.
And Stratford Council officers have also been asked to look at the possibility of using mobile CCTV cameras in some of the areas, as a more cost-effective method.
Bidford Parish Council and ward members have asked for two cameras to be considered, one on High Street and one near the bridge, at a cost of £40,000.
These have been listed as the second highest priority on the Stratford list. The village does not have any cameras at present.
The fourth highest was Alcester, where a camera on Globe Island, costing £20,000, has been requested by the town council.
Bidford's county councillor, Peter Barnes, believes the mobile camera scheme could be feasible.
