Missed chances proved costly for Feckenham as they were held to a 1-1 draw at lowly Bolehall Swifts in their Midland Combination Premier Division clash.
But manager Clive Campion hopes his players can bounce back with two home games in four days with Highgate United at the Valley Stadium tonight (Wednesday, ko 7.30pm) ahead of Saturday's visitors Alveston (ko 2.45pm).
Martin West had given the Millers the lead only for Bolehall to level in the final minute.
Campion was without seven key players for the match at Bolehall, six of them through injury.
But there was some good news with impressive displays from new signings striker Simon Williams and midfielder James Cope.
Williams started the season with Redditch United while Cope, a Redditch regular two seasons ago, signs from Sutton Coldfield Town.
Midfielders Chris White and James Harper were set to be available tonight after work commitments ruled them out on Saturday.
But defender Lee Styler is suspended and there are doubts over defender Ian Edwards (groin strain), midfielders Mat Hudson (hamstring), Justin Dankenbring (ankle) and striker Andy Underwood (ankle).
The Millers are waiting to learn their second round opponents in the Challenge Vase after beating last season's semi-finalists Alvechurch 4-2 in the first round last week.
