STUDLEY BKL manager Mark Chambers has paid tribute to the efforts of his midfield maestros who have helped hoist the Birmingham Road side up the Midland Football Alliance table.
Leading scorer Craig Pountey may be getting all the headlines but Chambers said his team also has its fair share of unsung heroes.
Pountney netted a second half hat-trick to secure a 3-1 win at Paget Rangers on Saturday but the Bees were chasing the game until an inspired substitution.
A Ricky Marshall penalty gave Paget a half-time lead but the introduction of striker Jamie Bailey at the break swung the game in Studley's favour.
Although the youngster missed two good chances he had a hand in Pountney's treble - all the goals coming in the final 20 minutes.
Studley are at home for their next four matches with Ludlow Town the visitors to the Beehive on Saturday. Chambers hopes to have Steve Duncan and Andy Grubb available despite the pair suffering from groin and ankle niggles respectively.
But Trevor Whittington is likely to miss out following a minor operation while Kevin Rowlands is suspended. Studley visit Worcester City in a friendly tonight (ko 7.30pm).
