THE October 17 meeting, held at the Village Hall, was a great success.
The theme was 'Gift Wrapping with a Difference' and the guest demonstrator was Bernadette Munnely. Her artistic skills changed, as if by magic, an apparently ordinary gift into a thing of beauty, so timely for the forthcoming festive season.
Visitors from other clubs joined and they too expressed their appreciation of the afternoon's entertainment.
The competition was 'A Pantomime' (a petite arrangement) and some very inventive and imaginative entries were displayed.
The next meeting takes place on November 21 at 2pm when the demonstrator Mrs Joan Southerton's title is 'Christmas interpreted in flowers.'
