THE Redditch Royal British Legion branch is urging people to dig deep for this year's Poppy Appeal.
The group is hoping to top last year's record of more than £14,500 raised through poppy sales.
The Remembrance Day parade on Sunday, November 11, will include a rededication of the refurbished Cross of Remembrance outside St Stephen's Church.
The parade will gather in Easemore Road and march to the town hall, where Mayor Dot Dudley will take the salute.
A two-minute silence will then be held at the Cross of Remembrance before a service in the church.
Meanwhile, the Webheath legion branch will be attending a service of remembrance with the Astwood Bank branch.
