Kingswinford 4, Evesham 3
EVESHAM travelled to Kingswinford with a considerably weakened team and without club captain Moss who was serving a two-week ban.
Hoskins returned to shore up the right-hand side with Chris Perry moving to centre back to command the defence.
Evesham dominated the play and deservedly took the lead when Cox moved the ball swiftly to Dufty who committed the keeper and passed the ball square to Wood to slot the ball into the empty net.
Unfortunately, other chances which fell to Lloyd and Tranter were not converted and Evesham paid the price when Kingswinford broke quickly and levelled the score shortly before half-time.
Berry rallied the team during the interval and debutant Bearcroft worked the ball between Mullett and Baumber for Tranter to score from a tight angle to make the perfect start to the second half.
Alas, a woeful tackle by Perry when he went straight through the Kingswinford striker, meant Evesham were reduced to ten players.
Then when Perry returned, Wood was dismissed for verbal abuse to the umpire.
Evesham were unable to regroup during this period and Kingswinford made their numerical advantage pay when they scored three quick goals.
Hoskins' late magnificent flick from a well- worked short corner was not enough for an Evesham side who are now rooted firmly to the bottom of the table and must win against Old Sils at home on Saturday.
