A NEW-bjorn bar at a Ledbury hotel has been officially named and opened by guests from the town's twin in Sweden.
Members of Ledbury-Stromstad Twinning Group displayed Swedish flags, memorabilia and photographs at The Talbot's Little Stromstad bar.
Bjorn Alm, Stromstad's business co-ordinator, and Councillor Phil Bettington, Ledbury's Mayor, led the ceremony, which featured the reading of a poem by committee members as the bar was named.
"It's important to strengthen international friendships and understand others' cultures. This has been particularly highlighted in the past few weeks," said Wadworth Brewery's representative, Jonathon Pollock, welcoming Ledbury's gesture.
