TWO Worcester teenagers who had a £1,400 of ecstasy tablets in their Lowesmoor flat have been bailed to await sentence on Friday, November 23.
James Dale and Rebecca Nash, both 19, changed their pleas to guilty on the second day of their trial at Worcester Crown Court, after initially denying they had the drug intending to supply it.
The defence had claimed they were under duress to store the drug, but after hearing evidence from Dale, Judge Michael Mott said he was not convinced the pair were in fear of death or serious injury.
They had been asked to store the tablets but the evidence was ''woefully short'' of what could be termed duress, he said.
He felt they were ''warehousing'' the drug, rather than intending to deal with the 140 tablets.
Police who raided their flat found the ecstasy, self-sealing bags and £30 in cash, said Brett Stevenson, prosecuting.
They claimed they allowed use of their flat because they were strapped for cash.
Nash, who was six months pregnant, would also ask for an offence of possessing amphetamine to be considered.
