ATHLETICS: John Amos led Amazing Feet home in Stroud's 20th annual half-marathon which formed race number 12 of the inter-club competition.
Amos ran in 1 hour 33 minutes, followed by Richard Baker in 1-48-13 seconds, Andy Norris 1-48-51 and Nicola Beecroft 1-54-38.
Beecroft's time smashed her previous personal best by over 12 minutes, despite running the last three miles with a migraine.
Amos stretched his inter-league lead as a result of the race with Baker holding third place from Norris in fourth by just nine points.
Beecroft moved to within just 10 points of long time leader Ruth Miles in the race for the ladies title with Irene Sanders between them in second.
Craig Freeman and Les Jones tackled the tough National Trust Snowdonia marathon, recording times of 4-30. Wayne Slater finished just behind them.
I Sanders smashed her five mile personal best by three minutes in the Guy Fawkes Five in Harrogate while on holiday.
She recorded 45-41 for 233rd position out of the 284 finishers.
Husband Eddie also recorded 45-41, finishing 234th.
