The former Walsall trainee joined Harriers' youth set-up near the end of the 1999/00 season and has forced his way into the first-team reckoning.
Birmingham-born Davies, an all-round midfielder who can win the ball and distribute well, was rewarded with a new 12-month deal in May 2001.
He has also figured on the right-hand side where he models his crossing on England captain David Beckham.
Surprisingly, began the season in place of the suspended Danny Williams and looked a player beyond his years.
