LEADING national horse world experts will descend on NAC Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, for the 11th British Equine Event, on Saturday and Sunday.
Among them will be equestrian stars and celebrity vets and there will be specialised stands.
Practical demonstrations will be staged, including Olympic rider and dressage trainer, Carl Hester teaming up with international dressage judge, Stephen Clarke, to show how to ride a winning test.
Karen Bassett, a top team driving competitor, will give a talk on training teams while Kristina Cook, who represented Great Britain in the recent European Eventing Championships, will talk about her own training techniques and how she produces winning horses from the early stages.
Sally Kingsley, of television's Vets in Practice, will discuss a range of everyday healthcare issues as part of a focus on healthy horses. She will highlight advances in wound management and recovery procedures, as well as routine therapy, such as poulticing and hot and cold therapy.
Horse owners can also pick up advice from her on bandaging and dressing wounds, the basics of healing and knowing when to call for veterinary assistance.
Top British working hunter horses and ponies will be on show at the event, as part of a presentation on how to select and produce prize-winning working hunters.
The British Equine Event also features a business forum - now in its third year.
