INTREPID horse riders are being challenged to take part in a 90km Chilcotin Mountain Horse Trek in Canada next year.
Guide Dogs for the Blind is organising the 11-day fund-raising ride supported by Tourism British Columbia.
Horses are supplied for the trek through breathtaking scenery in north America on two trips in August and September 2002.
Riders will be able to relive the pioneer days, relying on mounts and packhorses to carry essential supplies, with food airdropped and prepared by local cooks.
Participants are required to raise a minimum of £2,800, which includes a personal contribution for expenses.
For further details contact the events fund-raising team on 0870 123 44 22.
