COUNCIL chiefs have started looking at the public's response to their ideas for the new Wyre Forest Local Plan.
The proposals in the plan, which will shape the future of the district for the next 10 years, were put out to a six-week public consultation ending on October 11. Head of planning and environment Jake Berriman is now analysing about 215 replies.
The plan identifies areas for housing, industry and retail use and will provide detailed guidance on the development of the district until 2011.
Mr Berriman said considering comments was a "detailed process" which the overview and scrutiny (environment and development) committee will carry out by next spring before a revised plan is approved by the council prior to a further public consultation.
