STRATFORD College creative and cultural studies students are undertaking an ambitious programme of performances as part of their autumn/winter season.
The students are producing a wide-range of drama, poetry and music to entertain, amuse and stimulate audiences in the weeks ahead.
On November 9 and 10 students on year one of the Higher National Diploma in theatre practice will perform two short comedies by Spanish playwright Federico Garcia Lorca which promise plenty of "saucy humour".
Year one students on the popular music national diploma course perform their own original soundtracks to films by Czech surrealist animator Jan Svankmajer on November 20 and 21.
First year A-Level drama students will hold a poetry evening on November 22 and the second year group are performing excerpts from the plays of Richard Brinsley Sheridan on December 6 and 7.
The season finishes on December 13 and 15 with Everyone Drinks at Rick's, an evening of dance, music, food and songs inspired by the classic 1942 movie starring Humphrey Bogart.
Further information and tickets are available from the college box office on 01789 266245.
